34 Ford

My Father's birthday was yesterday. He has born on Jan 17, 1934 in a little town called Sweetwater, Oklahoma. I can describe my father with a picture.

He owned a 34 Ford once in his lifetime and he always wanted to buy another one. He was as wild as that car but he was Dad. He was as soft as man can be and as hard as the world had taught him. He was always there. He was my father I am proud of what he became. Happy Birthday Dad! One of many more celebration in heaven.

I wish he would have kept the car for us to drive in 2008.

One Of The Chosen

I Voted Today!
Jan 17, 2008
My Dad’s birthday!
Before you think you missed the voting day, I received in the mail last week a ballot for the Feb 5, 2008 consolidated Presidential Primary Election. Our address has been designated as a mail ballot precinct.
This means there is no polling place for me. I feel robbed! No where to go into a booth with a curtain around it and to mark the one I think will do a good job. I will not tell you the name of the person I voted for. But if they win the election I will tell you my vote is the one that got them into office.
Boy I miss that little room inside a big room! I miss the little sticker that you got to wear all day saying “I VOTED TODAY”. Maybe they will send the sticker to me in the mail.
Go Vote on Feb 5, 2008!

My son, his wife and my granddaughter made this snow man. They are proud of it. It is a first for my granddaughter and one of many from the other two. It lost its nose last night to one of the following:
squirrels,
raccoons,
coyotes,
bobcats,
deers,
skunks,
mountain lions,
a mouse.
Good thing Bears are not on this list.
Take some time in your day today to make something with a family member. Take a picture of it and send it to me at Ken@centralcommunity.com.
I will place the winning picture on this site.
