Bananas
I like bananas! My wife likes bananas! My kids and granddaughter likes bananas! I guess we are a banana eating family. The problem is that you get them at the store and you can only buy a few because when you get home they go bad.
I have fixed the problem. I got some bags called “Green Bags” by Debbie Meyer. I can put the fresh bananas into these bags and for the next two week I don’t have to worry about my bananas. If I buy some that are really green I can have bananas for months. (LOL)
Thank God for people like Debbie Meyer, Betty Crocker, Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben, my wife and kids.

Tricia's Chili
I cook around the house as much as my wife does. She found this recipe that is really-really good. It's on the hotter side for chili. It's also low in calories and it's good for you body. The real name is Doc’s Chili but Tricia's Chili sounds better. She is a good cook but I can give her a run for the money. Try it you'll like it!
INGREDIENTS:
3 cups chopped yellow onions
1 pound lean ground turkey
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano (or 1 teaspoon dried)
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground mustard
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
1 1/2 cups cooked pinto beans (one 15-ounce can, rinsed and drained )
1 1/2 cups cooked black beans (one 15-ounce can, rinsed and drained )
3 cups diced tomatoes (or one 28-ounce can roasted diced tomatoes, undrained)
1 cup fat free chicken broth
1/2 cup black olives
1/2 cup chopped green onions or chopped fresh cilantro
Spray a large saucepan or Dutch oven with a few sprays of cooking oil spray. Add onion and sauté over medium-high heat until soft and just starting to brown. Add ground turkey or sausage; cook over medium high heat, breaking up meat with a spoon, until cooked through; about 6 minutes. Add chili powder, oregano, cumin, mustard, garlic, beans, tomatoes, and broth. Bring to a boil over high heat and then reduce the heat to a simmer. Cover and let simmer for 20 minutes. Our House
One of the many blessing’s in our lives is our home. It has been a shelter from the rain and snow. A place were family and friends has come together to share our lives, to grow together, to laugh, to experience the good times and bad. A place of retreat from all the responsibilities of our lives.
We all call that “HOME”
Over the year’s we have had family and friend’s stay with us and now we would like to invite you to share our home. For one weekend a month we are going to offer the people at Central Community a place to come up, away from their homes, lives and responsibilities. To stay at our house in enjoy the beauty of the Forrest and the mountains of Idyllwild. Come on up on Friday and stay till Sunday. Or if you can’t miss church leave on Saturday or Sunday morning.
It will be first come first served. So talk to us and we can set some dates. If it all goes well we might offer it twice a month. Welcome to our home. Come on up and we will set around the fire and share our lives with you.

Water
I picked up a few things up at Stater Brother’s yesterday. As I was walking in the store I went down the Water isle. Yes they now have so many water’s that one isle is dedicated to “Water”. If you wanted to get some water at the store today it will take you hours to pick the one that is right for you.
They have…
Artesian Water, Mountain Water, Distilled water, Crystal Water, Glacial water, Spring water, Fitness water, Fruit water, Vitamin water, Invigoration water, Calm your life water, Shield your life water, Energize your life water, and the one I picked up was Enlighten your life water. I have always wanted to be “ENLIGHTEN”! I might even give it to someone as a gift and they can drink it and will be enlighten!

I picked up a few things at Smart and Final yesterday and they have some water that Stater Brother’s does not carry, they have “Smart Water”. Now you can find all your answer to life and fix all your problems with a bottle of water!
I noticed something-- all of that water was trying to fix the problems and the situations that we find ourselves in. But I know this guy. His name is Jesus and he gives this water that will not fix your problems but goes to the source and gives you life.
He has said “All who drink of this water will be thirsty again. But whoever takes a drink of water that I will give him shall never, no never, be thirsty any more. But the water that I will give him shall become a spring of water welling up within him unto eternal life” (John 4:14)
The water at Staters, Smart and Final and in life will cost you something, sometimes your own life but the water I want to drink is free to the taking. All we have to do is ask Jesus for it and we will be blessed with it.
Ask Today and you will be enlightened! Jesus

We All Have Them!
All of us have them around our homes.
Some have them inside our houses.
We are troubled by them and for some they keep us up at night.
We try to rid them from our lives but they keep coming back.
It’s because “they” rule the World!
Critters’
We all have them!
My critters are raccoons. They get into my trash and have dinner, lunch or Breakfeast.
No matter how tight the trash can lid is on they can get it open because…
They rule the World!
