I meet a man for the second time today. I and Tricia were coming to church this morning and around one of the turns was a truck on its side. The man was going to fast and hit a patch of ice. The rest is history. You could see the tracks of his truck in the ice. He battled to keep the truck on the road. As we came up to him, he was walking around and ok. He looked like a sweet, kind guy in his early 60’s. His right arm was banged up a little. Another driver was already helping him and things were in control. I asked if we could call anyone for him and he said there was no one to call. We called 911 and other help was on its way, mainly for his truck.
We had met this guy about a month ago. He was driving up the hill and slid off the road and into a snow bank. He was going to fast again. He was not hurt but just had to wait for a tow truck to pull him out. Tricia prayed for Him.
Can’t wait to meet the guy for a third time! But I will ask for his phone number this next time and I and Tricia will take him out to dinner, something is calling us together. It just might be life, but you never know. He really just might not have any one to call. Maybe God has been calling us to help him.
Watch your driving today and watch out for the others around you. They might need your help today!
Pastor Ken
