A Poly Grip Thanksgiving

We served over 3400 meals on Thanksgiving day! What a great time helping those in need. This morning in the office I received a call from one of the households that received a dinner. She told me that the meal was great and she said “THANK YOU, THANK YOU, and THANK YOU! She told me how the two ladies were great but she had not heard back from them. She told them she needed some poly grip for her teeth and she was thinking they were going to come back with some to help her out. I told her that we were only serving dinners that day and I didn’t think they would be back with the poly grip. I told her I was sorry for the mistake. I guess next year we better get a case of the stuff as back-up!
Good thing our turkey was cooked so good and it melted in her mouth and she didn’t need her teeth!

A Staff

And the Lord said to him “What is in your hand?” “A staff” he replied.
Exodus 4: 2

Walter Crager led a group of hikers from Central Community to areas around southern Ca for years. We had a blast and a work out at the same time. Walter loves to hike.

If you asked him the same question that the Lord ask Moses awhile back “What is in you hand?” he would say “A BIG STICK”. Walter loves to carry a big stick.

If you asked why he carried a stick he would tell you just in case something came out of the woods. Walter loves to poke at things.

Walter also carried a backpack containing medical supplies in case someone fell off a cliff. Walter loves to be the nurse of the day. He is a Register nurse. Walter loves to fix people.

Walter always has a joke to tell you. Walter loves to laugh.

Walter is a great guy!

Walter also carried an extra big stick with him--which he gave to Pastor Eric one year so he could walk on water!

Brother George

I received an email from a man named George Nyandwaro. I have never met him and he tells me he is from a Village in Kenya, Africa called Bokimonge. I went to map quest to see what area of Kenya it is in, but its so little that it off the map.
He request we come to his village "to teach, train us so that we may be able to teach others also". A fitting email at this Easter time! Jesus came into your little world, our home that was way off the map to help us, to teach us, to share his life, so that at this Easter time we could help "Teach" as George says the others around us. Invite some one to our services this weekend. Check out the times at Centralcommunity.com
Would you like to help George? Email me at Ken@Centralcommunity.com and it will change your world and a village somewhere in the world called Bokimonge. I bet Jesus know the way to Bokimonge.
Here is a video of Central Community helping the other George's of Kenya.
