Memorial Day weekend May 23-26, 2008

April 17,2008
It’s that time of year again to pick up the hammer, to paint the walls, and to fall down on the bed and think of all the great stuff you did that day. That is, if you are not asleep by the time you hit the edge of the bed! (HA!) There is one sound I love to hear that weekend that goes above the laughter, it cries out more than the bleats of the goats, or is better than our people’s Spanish. The sound of the generator being turn off for the final time of the weekend. Shouting out in silence, a job well done! For that to happen, we need you there! I am really looking forward to participating in the Memorial Day weekend building trip on May 23-26. This event is for such a worthy cause, and I am very eager to have you on board with us this year.
As you may know, Central Community has provided homes for needy families and kids in Mexico. I am so thrilled to have been a part of each year’s building trip for each have been a blessing all within themselves. Through the combined generous contributions from you, especially through your hard work, we have been blessed to have 17 homes, 1 church and Siempre Para Los Ninos (our children home)
I am asking you to help Central Community to make this event another great success this year by offering your mind, your soul, and most of all, your body. The lives of others will be greatly enhanced by what your hands will do. The forth and final faze of Siempre will be build this year to support more kids and the Church community in Granjas. This years building will be our biggest yet. 3528 sq ft! It will include a 720 sq ft Dinning room, a kitchen to feed 64 people, 4 dorm rooms that will sleep 16 people each, 2 bathroom and a 2 bedroom home to house a Missionary.
Check out our sign-up/sponsorship form ( www.centralcommunity.com) outlining the various ways for you to help. Please make your check payable to Central Community or use your credit card. I ask that you please return your sign-up sheet and your deposit to me A.S.A.P. (TODAY!). If you would like to donate the cost of the lumber and materials, or you would like to sponsor someone to go this year, just call me at (951) 689-5806. If you have any questions just call.
I want you to know that I am completely committed to making this another success and have already started to plan for this a weekend. It will be a weekend that will change your life. Thank you in advance for your generous support, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely yours,
Pastor Ken McDaniel
